Thursday, March 17th, come attend the event the brewers of Guinness have declared “the single biggest St. Patrick’s Day party any one bar throws in the United States”! We open for lunch in the restaurant at 11:00 a.m. and  the open-air festival kicks off at noon with a variety of beers, spirits and food ranging from fish n’ chips, Guinness braised lamb shanks, blarney burgers and the requisite corned beef & cabbage, and much more.  As always, for every pound of corned beef sold, $2.00 is donated to the Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation.

This year we will be featuring our Guinness Oyster Bar, boasting hundreds of fresh shucked oysters, steamed clams, sauteed shrimp, crab cakes and all the oyster shooters one could want.  If your sweet tooth gets the best of you, the cure is found in Mrs. Murphy’s homemade Irish Whiskey cake & traditional bread pudding with whiskey sauce.

Once the sun goes down, however, the real party begins when Murph closes down Merchant and Nuuanu Streets and brings on the Irish stylings of Doolin’ Rakes and the hard rocking of local band Elephant.  The streets awash in green, lined with kegs of beer and spirits.  Its the event everyone will claim they were at and only by attending will you know if they are telling the truth.

We are located on the corner of Merchant and Nuuanu on the edge of Historic Chinatown.  For directions check out our map, or call 531-0422.
